Last year a ruling was made against full-body swimsuits for competitive swimmers, leaving Speedo with an entire unusable line of LZR Racers (the type of suit that helped Michael Phelps win during the 2008 Beijing Olympics).
Instead of wasting the material, Speedo is teaming up with eco-friendly fashion label From Somewhere to create a capsule collection from the surplus suits, including the cocktail dress above, due out sometime in 2011.
